Located on Blackfriars Road, this project involved the design and delivery of a new headquarters workspace for a fast-moving transport client, requiring a rapid turnaround and highly efficient execution.
The brief called for a straightforward, no-nonsense approach—prioritising functionality, clarity, and speed, while still creating a refined and comfortable working environment.
In response, the design adopts a pared-back material palette, softening the client’s previous brand identity and introducing a calmer, more balanced atmosphere throughout the space.
Workspace planning was central to the scheme, with layouts carefully configured to support day-to-day operational needs while maintaining flexibility.
A key feature of the project is a bold tea point, paired with an adjacent breakout area, designed to support a variety of work settings—from informal meetings to moments of pause—while energising users and encouraging interaction.
The result is a practical, amenity-led workplace that delivers efficiency without compromising on user experience. The project demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform a high-pressure, fast-track brief into a cohesive and human-focused environment, combining simplicity, performance, and subtle sophistication.
