Located in King’s Cross, The Space Between is a new-build workplace designed to attract a diverse mix of creative and tech-led occupiers.
The ambition was to create a dynamic, multi-tenant environment that brings together trailblazing businesses and fosters a strong sense of community.
Working with a developer client, the brief focused on delivering a commercially intelligent building with a clear identity - combining flexible workspace, shared amenities and wellness-led facilities to enhance tenant experience and long-term asset performance.
At ground level, a reception, coworking lounge and juice bar create an active, social hub that encourages interaction and dwell time. This is supported by a range of bookable spaces, including small offices and treatment rooms, offering flexibility for a variety of occupiers and uses.
Wellness sits at the heart of the building. Dedicated exercise and studio space, alongside high-quality changing and end-of-trip facilities, support modern working patterns and active commuting — key drivers for tenant attraction and retention.
The building has been designed with efficiency and adaptability in mind, incorporating reuse where possible and a simplified material approach to maintain cost control while delivering a strong, contemporary identity.
